Recommended Parking Lots
State Street Campus Garage | 400 N. Frances Street
Though the State Street Campus Garage is under construction, parking is still accessible via the Frances Street entrance. After parking, walk south on N. Frances Street. Turn right on University Avenue. Walk two blocks to the light at East Campus Mall (near Chazen Museum). Cross University at the crosswalk, going south. Continue south and enter Upper House on your left. (If you reach Walgreens, you have gone too far.) See Rates
Southeast Campus Ramp | 301 N. Lake St.
Entrance is on east side of N. Lake Street between University Avenue and W. Johnson Street. After parking, cross N. Lake Street and walk south on N. Lake. Turn right onto W. Johnson Street and walk one block west to East Campus Mall. Go north on East Campus Mall (turn right at Walgreen’s). The Upper House entrance is on East Campus Mall (on your right). See Rates
Granger Hall Garage | 325 N Brooks St, Madison, WI 53715
The Granger Hall garage entrance is on Brooks Street and is just a block and a half west of Upper House.
Further, but Free Options
There are a few free parking lots on campus on Saturdays. Lots 56 and 86 and are available, as seen on this map. If you don’t mind a little more of a walk, these are for you!

To plan your route and fare, visit the Metro Transit’s website.
For Eastbound, Southbound, and Northbound routes, guests should use Stop 0455 (W Johnson at N Park). From Stop 0455, walk east on W. Johnson Street to the East Campus Mall crosswalk. Turn and walk north on East Campus Mall (walk toward the Walgreens). The Upper House entrance is on East Campus Mall (on your right).
For Westbound routes, guests should use Stop 0765 (N Lake at University). To get to Upper House from Stop 0765, cross N. Lake Street and walk west on University Avenue one block to East Campus Mall. Go south on East Campus Mall (turn left at Valentia Coffee). The Upper House entrance is on East Campus Mall (on your left).
